Authorisations can be easily added to any part of your Change Process. The Hornbill workflow designer puts you in control of your process, letting you decide when and who needs to authorise a change.
Each authorisation can be set up to include one or more authorisers. When multiple authorisations are required you can set weighting levels to each authoriser giving a little extra authority to particular users or possibly setting a single overriding authoriser for those emergency changes.
Depending on the outcome of the authorisation you can drive your workflow to take the appropriate action. Authorisations can also be set with an expiry time. If an authorisation is not completed within a set time frame, send a reminder or send the authorisation to another appropriate authoriser.
