Job Description

Building on recent success Hornbill is going through a period of expansion and we are growing our Marketing team. Currently we are looking to hire an experienced and highly motivated Product Marketing Manager charged with driving and expanding our product strategy and content. The successful candidate will become a part of the Hornbill Marketing team at an exciting stage of expansion for not only the team but also for this fast-growing company. You will be part of a highly collaborative and inclusive work environment.

Primary Duties

  • Produce and develop high-quality, impactful product marketing materials: Presentation decks, product videos, webinars, website pages, sales enablement collateral, case studies and white papers
  • Create and deliver multimedia content appropriate for each stage in the buying cycle
  • Measure and optimise the buyer journey as it relates to product feature adoption and usage
  • Drive programmes and content to ensure the long-term growth of the Hornbill platform
  • Educate both internal and external stakeholders on our product features and their benefits
  • Present both internally and externally to promote the story of our products
  • Work with our key customers to create customer success stories and best practice references
  • Develop customer references, app use cases and business value for the Hornbill platform
  • Help to ensure operational readiness for company-wide initiatives such as key events and launches
  • Support the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales Specialists, Solution Specialists and across Marketing to support marketing plans, content, campaigns and sales enablement tools
  • Participate in social marketing and blogging activities to drive awareness
  • Conduct market segmentation and analyse competitors

About You

  • A creative, critical and objective approach is key with the ability to use metrics and analysis to drive informed business decisions and define differentiated product positioning
  • Strong technical writing skills with the ability to translate complex software processes into simple digestible materials
  • Previous experience in product marketing within a b2b software company ideally in the Service Desk industry
  • Software development skills are desirable
  • Deep understanding of driving a sales pipeline and the alignment between sales and marketing
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and organised individual with a positive attitude Commercially astute with the ability to understand the “bigger picture” that drives business objectives
