Printing Incident Information

Sometimes there is a need to distribute information about a particular incident to either the customer or to someone else in your business that doesn’t have access to Hornbill Service Manager. A simple way to achieve this is by creating a PDF containing the information from the incident that you wish to share.
The printing feature within an incident lets you select which of the sections you would like to include in your printout. For example if you are sending it to a customer you can exclude the customer information and select just the particular types of history entries that you want them to see. Once you have decided on the information to include in your printout, clicking on Print creates an easy to read printable format of your incident and then by using the built-in functionality of your browser, you can create a PDF and it is ready for distribution.
