Job Description
Reporting into the Senior Software and Integration Engineer, the Software Integration Engineer is required to coordinate with other teams and external organizations to gather information requirements for applications and integrations that meet the business needs, to plan, develop, test, and document integrations between Hornbill and other systems, as well as develop on other platforms to effect integrations with the Hornbill platform. Outside of the primary purpose, the technical nature of this role means you will also be called upon to work on a diverse range of other technical projects as the need arises.
Ideal Candidate
You must have a natural affinity for this type of role; it is not purely an academic role. The ideal person for this role is someone that is self-motivated, experienced, confident in their abilities has a solid technical capability, can cognitively rise above any specific technology, platform, programming language, or tool to create solutions to problems using software technology. As well as being highly technical, you need to be a good communicator, commercially astute, and willing to talk to other organizations, customers, partners, and internal teams to make things happen and “bring systems together”. You should have excellent writing skills as well as the ability to create instructions and demos using video when needed. If you are at home looking at a diverse range of systems, tools, and languages you have never previously seen, getting to grips with them to meet the necessary integration needs, and you are naturally curious, then this is the role for you.

- Experience in Golang and/or Python development
- Scripting in PowerShell
