The Hornbill Shared Mailboxes offer a great way for teams of users to interact with emails that are received into a generic mailbox such as a support mailbox.
Hornbill users can be associated to one or more shared mailboxes where, as a team, they can read, respond, forward, and most importantly process incoming emails directly into their other Hornbill apps such as raising an incident in Service Manager.
The email features include a rich text editor for the creation of your outgoing emails. Outgoing emails can be set with a specific team email address so no matter how many users there are in a team, the recipients always see the email coming from a single source. You can manage your team’s mailbox folders with options to create new folders and move messages between these folders.
Shared mailboxes can be configured to work with your existing email servers and services, including the use of secure email protocols.
