Software Discovery

Once computers have been discovered, inventory agents can be automatically deployed to perform a comprehensive analysis of each computer’s configuration and installed software products. Discovering both installed applications and program files the agent passes this information back to the Assetworks Discovery server for processing. The server applies multiple recognition techniques and converts raw data into more meaningful and useful management information.
