Hornbill Moves to Prestigious New Offices to Accommodate Continued Growth
February 1st, 2006 -- Hornbill Systems, a leading provider of IT support and service management solutions, has moved its UK headquarters to the Odyssey Business Park in Ruislip. This campus style office park, is located off the A40 Western Avenue, close to local tube and over-ground train stations. The company has moved to the larger and more prestigious offices to accommodate its continued expansion and growth, as the company expects to recruit a further 50 people over the next three years.
After over ten successful years in business, Hornbill is still seeing impressive year-on-year growth. During 2005 it saw one fifth of its staff pass ITIL examinations – now all pre and post-sales consultants and trainers are ITIL qualified, record numbers of new customers sign up, the announcement of several new industry partnerships, and it won two important Industry Awards.
As well as strong growth in the UK, Hornbill’s international operations have also continued to prosper, with many new customers signing up during 2005. Hornbill now boasts customers across the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia Pacific, and as a direct result, Hornbill’s US operation has increased in size too with staff now based in New York, Texas and California. Hornbill has also seen the addition of two new Hornbill Select Partners in Greece and Sweden, increasing Hornbill’s reach across Europe.
Gerry Sweeney, Managing Director at Hornbill Systems commented, “Recent success and expansion in the UK has meant that we needed more office space. As we continue to increase our market share and raise our profile, it is important for us to offer our clients a wider range of facilities from our corporate headquarters. As well as providing our staff with an excellent office environment, we will be able to offer our clients a full range of training, education, support and seminar facilities, including technical demonstration environments.”
Odyssey Business Park is easily accessible by road and rail, and just a short 20 minute journey from Heathrow International Airport to accommodate Hornbill’s many international visitors.
The move took place on 28/29 January, and will be followed by an official opening ceremony with a local dignitary in the following weeks.
